Having a stronger objective of women empowerment, Weaker Section Welfare Association was initiated in Pudukkotai, Tamil Nadu in the year 1996. As its women welfare activities, this NGO focuses on ? socio economic upliftment programmes for rural women, reproductive & child health, vocational training for widows / destitute, women rights, awareness on women related social issues etc., Also, this Association has its special attention on Health services for rural poor, awareness on environment, welfare of differently abled/ elderly persons, HIV/ AIDS interventions.
